| The European version of the new generation Honda Civic made its debut last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. And now there was evidence that the Japanese are preparing Type-R version of the car. The prototype was spotted near the Technology Center at the Nurburgring Honda. The first obvious difference concerns the appearance of the car. The model featured a massive rear wing, larger exhaust pipes and a new front spoiler. All of this is hinted that this is the first prototype of conducting tests of the new chassis. Production version of, among other things, distinguished the new rear bumper, diffuser, larger and wider wheels and sports seats. According to unverified information, future Civic will focus on drivers that tend to sport races, rather than to the everyday city driving. This involves improving the manageability, while the engine is able to boast a capacity of 220-230 horsepower.  | |
